The University of Piteşti (UPIT) is a public higher education institution, member of the national higher education system in Romania, since 1962, and of some prestigious international professional and academic institutions like: European University Association (EUA), L’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), The Danube Rectors’ Conference (DRC), European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET).
The University of Piteşti collaborates with more than 200 universities in EU member states and outside EU having international partners on all continents for its Bachelor, Master & Doctoral programs, Erasmus mobilities, research/development/innovation projects, scientific journals and conferences.
Student facilities
The University of Piteşti has five campuses in Pitești and four branches in the South-Muntenia Region of Romania that supports all its educational offer, its approx. 10.000 students benefitting of accommodation, cafeteria & restaurants, library with more than 300.000 scientific publications, sports facilities, psychological counselling, future teacher training programs and students associations.
